With
great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved
Class President. With his family in attendance, and after
a courageous battle with cancer, Vince passed away on
September 26, 2017 in his hometown Brookfield Connecticut.
A wonderful family man, an inspirational leader, and a
consummate classmate, Vince has left us a treasure trove
of memories that will be indelibly etched in our consciousness.
Always embracing his lifetime responsibilities as our
class Pres.,Vince could always be counted on to provide
leadership and inspiration for all post graduation activities
and reunions. For our 50th reunion which commenced with
a welcoming dinner party, Vince and his wonderful wife
Andrea with the 1st ones to show up for site preparation.
After graduating from Seton Hall University in 1965 and
as a newly commissioned 2nd Lieut. and husband to Andrea,
Vince embarked on his lifetime mission. After completing
his service requirements, Vince pursued and mastered a
career in the retail business. As proud as he was with
his affiliation to Seton Hall Prep and University, his
greatest source of joy and accomplishment was with his
3 children and their subsequent graduation from college,
careers and families.. At his memorial service, Vince
left a beautiful and poignant letter to be read in general
to those gathered and more specifically for his beloved
family. Typically Vince, it was chock-full of anecdotes,
remembrances, laughs, and loving advice.
May
he rest in peace
